CARF International announced that Pathways to Independence has been accredited
for a period of three years for its Community Housing, Community Integration, Host Family Services
(Family Home Provider), Respite Services and Independent Supported Living programs.

August Update 2009
The theme at the August 10th meeting of the CARF Steering Committee was awareness. Committee members
took part in a “fun activity” that put both their memory and attention to detail to the test.

The Client Satisfaction Survey is now underway. Beth Graham has taken on this project, traveling to
homes and programs gathering the opinion of the people we support on the quality and effectiveness of
the programs and services we provide.

The Steering Committee played CARF Jeopardy at the March meeting. The competition was close and it
came down to the wire with a tie breaking question between all three teams.

to ask their opinion on the quality and effectiveness of the programs and services we provide.
