Pathways to Independence officially opens! April 17 was a special day for us at Pathways. We officially opened our new program and office centre at 289 Pinnacle Street. Over 100 friends, community partners, representatives of local businesses and employees gathered in the Wilkinson & Company Community Room to hear honored guests wish us well, and watch the ribbon cutting ceremony.

These two words are fundamental to the work we do everyday. They convey so much and yet, are uniquely defined by our own life experiences and expectations. Here’s a little challenge: define and write down what you think dignity and respect means, ask a friend or two to do the same. You’ll be fascinated and surprised by the definitions you come up with, and we believe you’ll learn a lot from the conversation that follows.
