More opportunities, choices, independence and quality of life
are some of the benefits offered to people when they are able
to live with a family home provider. Following a rigorous approval
and matching process that includes assessing shared interests,
compatibility, location and access to services, a supported person
lives with a family and shares in their lives. Supported by their
natural family and professionals from Pathways to Independence,
the Family Home program provides a stable living option to people.
Our family home providers are very special people. Once approved,
a family home provides a safe and caring environment for the
people we support to live in a community of their choice with
access to that's community's resources and facilities.

become a family home provider is very thorough. Every family
