The individuals who participate in our Transitional Age Youth
program have been able to learn new job skills, extend their
social networks and contacts and in some cases, earn a well
deserved pay cheque. Many local businesses, schools and other
social service agencies actively work together to ensure participants
in this program are better prepared for community involvement
through volunteering or competitive employment. With experience
gained in the hospitality, manufacturing, daycare and general
labour industries, many of the people we support in our Transitional
Age Youth program are ready, able and willing to earn their
way.
