Pathways provides supportive housing options, day and recreation programs, psychiatric counselling and behaviour therapy, court and justice related services and short-term respite to adults with a developmental disability, an acquired brain injury, or those who may be dually diagnosed.
Operating in the South East and Champlain Regions of Ontario, Pathways is fully accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Pathways is a preferred provider of community based ABI services and supports through the Local Health Integration Networks (LHIN) that service the Champlain and South East regions of Ontario.

About the Pathways to Independence Board of Directors
Pathways to Independence is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who share their experience and skills in Business and Human Services to provide long term strategic guidance and direction. The Board of Directors meets on a monthly basis and holds its Annual General meeting in October each year.

About the Pathways Foundation Board of Directors
The Pathways Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who provide guidance and direction in the acquisition and management of the financial resources of the Foundation. The Board also grants requests for financial assistance in accordance with the Foundation’s mandate. The mandate of the Pathways Foundation is to enhance the quality of life of people supported by Pathways to Independence and those supported by partner organizations.

Finance, Operations & IT
Pathways Finance team is responsible to ensure all financial transactions and reports are completed. The Operations Department ensures that all Pathways homes and locations are maintained, safe and secure for our clients, employees, volunteers and guests. Pathways works closely with a third party vendor, Zycom Technology to support the agency information technology infrastructure.
